re: The Patent Application Process - UK

Hi Chris, UK patents are not published until 18 months after filing, it is unwise to share anything except under NDA before 12 months as you have the opportunity to expand the patent and re-file at the international phase, which is at 12 months. nobody can see the patent until 18 months after filing...

re: The Patent Application Process - UK

Chris, it means anything that has been published or presented at a conference. Anything that the patent office can find on the internet such as back copies of magazines or published notes. Don't get too paranoid.

Pete.

re: The Patent Application Process - UK

Hi Guy's, Interesting subject. The UK patent office applied to parliament to create a law that banned PM machines from being patented, I think it was 1905. If you are trying to patent PM, disguise it as something else. If you do have a useful patent then at some stage before grant you will need to d...

Hi Grimer, be careful, he said 1lb causes 4lb to fly up, it is not gearing. Pete.

re: The application of Bessler’s Physics to Bessler’s proble

Newton was wrong but he was divine, well he thought so, so he couldn't be wrong. Bessler's wheel is about physics and engineering, until we understand the physics there is no way we are going to sort out the engineering. As the physics needs to contravene Newtonian laws to work, we have to dig deep ...

Your game, play it how you want. I will just chug away at it as have been for a while. it is unlikely that I would announce anything on this site if I succeed.

re: What should someone do with a solution?

Agree with the members bit but some of us believe Bessler did it and he could do it, so can we. However, I'm into 14 years and John Collins about 40 years. You need to make up your own mind first, real or hoax?

re: What should someone do with a solution?

In the US you have a problem, the government reserve the right to grab any patent that is considered to be in the national interest up until grant, which could be 3 years. In the UK they only have 6 weeks to decide so if the patent is for a bicycle wheel motion assister and it gets to week 7, they a...

re: What should someone do with a solution?

If you don't patent someone else will and block you from giving it away. Publishing on the internet will make sure everyone knows how it works but GE or Mitsubishi would spend millions filling a patent and defending it by going after anyone who builds a useful wheel. They WILL find something patenta...

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!

Thanks Ralph,

Found it, "disk or narrow drum". Shame there is no indication of its diameter but it all helps.

latest iteration gathering pace, confidence building, if only the bloody day job would stop interfering. 61 yo tomorrow but no chance of retiring soon.

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!

Has anyone given any though to JB's reference to an inner wheel - drum- mill stone? Are there any clues to how big it was in relation to the diameter of the wheel?
