re: MT Cover

The attached image is what I have for the cover of MT, I was hoping to find a clear high quality picture. There are a few items I want to look at that are not clear in the picture. Part of my code breaking effort led me here. I may have the wrong pic.

MT Cover

Does anyone have a quality picture of the front cover of MT?

Thanks

re: Simplest Design...

As the rope tightens it pulls the ring/weight to the left and should keep the wheel "feeling" the weights on the downward side.
I reserve the right to be wrong. :)

re: Simplest Design...

I really like your design and thought pattern. Have you thought of this?

re: Beware/Text contains God word!

He may have been referring to the bible written in 1516. When I get some time I am going to see if his 140 bible quote fit into that bible.

JB
If you put three gears around a geared axle and put weights on the outside of each gear and rotate them around the axle you will get a geometric shape and keep it out of balance at least for a part of the rotation.

re: Any Buzzsaw Wheel Models for sale?

A few years ago I traveled to Arizona and met with Doc. I made tracings of the wheel and constructed a model, you can see it on my album. Stacking is a problem with the weights and getting them to transfer smoothly was a major issue for me.

re: The solution of Besslerwheels is Bipedalism

I built a wheel using a horse front half (legs) as a guide for motion. Resetting the legs turned into a show stopper. I even tried lengthening the torso to balance the system which tended to hamper the downward force of the legs. Good luck with your design.

re: What is the longest your wheel has ever ran

I built a wheel 18 months ago that was balanced at rest and rotated for 2 minutes and 23 seconds with a slight push. It used springs and pairs of weights.

re: Famous Portraits

I am unable to find a connection to Hooke. His views on gravity seem to be the only obvious link. Not having a portrait does make it almost impossible to link him to Bessler. I am also looking closely at Silbermann, he was building an organ in Dresden 1711-1714 at a Cathedral.

re: Famous Portraits

I have the same thoughts about the faceless portrait being of Bessler. I want to exhaust all of the other possibilities first. Unfortunately I am unable to locate all of the portraits of known people around Bessler. The question that I keep asking myself about the portraits is, would Bessler have ha...

re: Famous Portraits

Thank you all for helping me! I am researching famous people that Bessler may have had contact with. I am looking for a portrait to match the one with the missing face on Bessler's double portrait. I am assuming that they key to the AP Bible versus will be found when the person in the portrait is id...
