Conservation of Angular momentum and Energy are interesting.
I will probably feel stupid about this in a weeks time but wanted to openly share this before the idea fleas from my head. Since it's late here I won't be explaining the whole thing. But what happens if you have a wheel where you conserver angular momentum by playing with the masses and their radius...

They are not. Bacterial spores are a dormant form of a bacteria that forms when conditions become too harsh (no nutrients, not ideal temp...) for sustained growth. There are some reports that bacterial endospores can last up to 10,000 years. Btw you don't need capillary action or gravity. The spores...

Reminder: Bacterial spore PM wheel
Remember 5 years ago scientists used bacterial spores to essentially create a PM wheel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj2kuZm-aCA The spores don't degrade, they are like a sponge, they expand when humid and contract when dry, you only need a difference between humidity to make it work. But what is...

Conservation of momentum and a conic slinky
Lately I have been thinking about the whole conservation of LINEAR momentum discussion again. Where if you could somehow transfer all the momentum from a big mass to a small mass and have linear momentum conserved you end up with more energy as has already been discussed in the past. Now the reason ...

re: energy producing experiments
Why does the heat need to be concentrated at the spot of impact? Have you ever heard of Surface phonons? At impact a shockwave travels throughout the entire material at the speed of sound causing the atoms to vibrate collectively. Here's a good explanation on this: http://news.mit.edu/2010/explained...

re: energy producing experiments
Please share your video footage and your setup next to some tape measurement to eliminate any bias. You're even implying that the tether length is pi times the radius what radius???? At this point you could be completely making up all your numbers and convince only yourself of your energy producing ...

re: energy producing experiments
Wow what a condescending prick you are, this is not how you treat people who are willing to do the hard work of figuring out the facts because you lack even basic IT skills. One thing is absolutely certain to me, the angular velocity remains the same. I repeated the experiment many times and every t...

re: energy producing experiments
I'm seeing some strange numbers for my calculation of the moment of inertia (m*r²). I'm going to setup a rig to calculate the moment of inertia before I can conclude anything.

re: energy producing experiments
Well I apologies for my remark on the camera yes it does 240fps at 480p resolution it seems. So at least it makes sense why you keep mentioning 1/240. But please share the video footage I would gladly be willing to analyze it as well, without any bias whatsoever. I can only show you my footage and f...

re: energy producing experiments
Can you please tell me how you measure 1/240th of a second duration's when your camera probably only records at 30 fps (1/30th of a s)??? I would even argue that my experiment is more accurate as I record at 120fps. Also why not rent a 1000 fps camera for a day if you are so confident in the results...

re: energy producing experiments
As I mentioned I'm going to gather more accurate data from the device, however I think I will never convince you even if both AM and Energy are conserved perfectly. All these years you never considered the fact you might be wrong and that my friend is why you will never accept anything else. Belief ...

re: energy producing experiments
Pequaide, bearing resistance has been reduced to almost nothing by removing the bearing grease and using WD-40 before a run. The setup freespins for quite a while. Yes there is air resistance but this is is also insignificant when looking at spin down rate. As for the wobbling containing half the en...

re: energy producing experiments
I have been busy for a while now on a build for this type of device and I think I can say I'm about finished now. Here's a video of said device in action, recorded in slow motion at 120FPS as well: https://youtu.be/JYAa18PlGEo Since I was so curious as to what sort of data this device generated I we...

re: energy producing experiments
Very cool indeed, I just made a quick video with my smartphone which incidentally also has a slow motion feature camera at 120fps and did some analysis of the friction bearing. The wheel has a marker on it for easy tracking, after a few trial and errors I got some very good results. I created an RPM...
