My humble opinion
I made a lot of experiments, since my last presence here. I realised that the weights themselves cannot make any additional work. When they make same distance - they make same work. I fully appreciate last experiments presented here, especially machines built by Path_finder, but IMHO the machines bu...

Saludos!!
Here are some samples of my research. I believe that cross-jack has hidden possibilities to explore. And I will read some informations about Laithwaite effect. This looks interessant too.

How this was supposed to work?
Hi all, old and new ones :-) It's been a long time since my last post. But I didn't forget the matter. I did a lot of work and simulations. My humble conviction is that Bessler must have invented some way to lift bigger weights using smaller counterweights and cross-jack. Arguments: 1. Machine stand...

New idea
Hi all My PM research is going in two directions: magnetic and gravitational. Below is my newest idea concerning Bessler's machine. Looking at MT drawings I realised that most of them presents machines where some weights are lifted by other, dropping weights. The problem is that the dropped weights ...

re: video of PM machine
IMHO this machine is powered through two metal bolts supporting it. If you can see in the 1 min 5 sec of the animation, when the inventor takes the machine up and the connection with bolts is interrupted - it stops.
I would be wrong but I have my big doubts here.

re: New gravity-magnetic fulcrum seems to work in WM2D
Yes, LIB. Let's hope that these changes will be in good direction.
Below I attach my new magnet idea. I wanted to set magnets more and less "dense" to force the central magnet to rotate by seeking less dense repelling field and more dense attracting field. What you think?

re: New gravity-magnetic fulcrum seems to work in WM2D
Hey Jon, The animation is a typical animated gif. I used freeware microsoft gif animator to create it - I realised that only with this program the animation is shown properly in attachments window. You can download this program from : http://www.gifmania.com/Util/soft/microsoftgig.htm. (it is Englis...

re: New gravity-magnetic fulcrum seems to work in WM2D
Recently I was thinking about something like this... (see attached animation) but my WM2D skills are not enough to verify it.

Thanks!!
Finally I made it.
Now I can start experiments. :)

Mac,
I think that MLFA can be useful here too.
MLFA = My Last Failed Attempt :)

re: My failed attempt
Thanks for all good words. I have a new design in my head, but I prefer to verify it in WM2D before construction. The problem is that in my WM2D demo I cannot fix more than two arms in one place, using pin joints. They are fixed but they cannot move one over another. I have a question: is that possi...

re: My failed attempt
Here is my idea. Probably it's nothing new for most users here, but I think everything that can shed some light for the mystery is worth looking at. I'm thinking also that the "radioactivity" symbol means that the pendulum made 3 swings per rotation. Part of the rotation time pendulum made...

My failed attempt
Hey!! Here is my last machine I tried to make. I wanted to use a single one-way (self blocking) weight inside the wheel as a fast swinging propulsion (blue in animation). Two satellite weights are for disloading the energy stored by spring during fast swing. This idea came to me when I was watching ...

re: Vocations
Flywheel... Even if you have an idea that you know is unworkable, then it can still be of value if you post a quick screenshot of it for your fellow members to peruse. Any design, even one that you feel is useless, might trigger an idea for a different design in another member which could lead to su...

re: Vocations
Hi Flywheel!! If you want to post pictures you need: 1. Resize the picture to about 800x600px; 2. Save as *.jpg or *.gif format; 3. In the posting screen choose "browse" in "filename" field, find requested file. The name of attached file will appear in the window. That's all Enjo...
