Ralph.
Interesting that you would spend so much $$ on WM2D in order to save files, then not know much about using it.
LOL.

Ouch! I'm not sure I understand why you have written that ... Whatever. With a name like Warren "War" Hammer I've had a lot to live up to. LOL. You're impatient? What about the others here with the publication of MT etc., your claims to know all? Do the other members count? Doesn't matter...

re: What to do about Ken
I think you all should leave Ken alone. I enjoy reading what he has to say. I think Ken's posts show his extreem concern for solving this Bessler mystery, that is way above any egotism he may have. I can tell, he just wants to help. If you don't want to read him, then good. Miss out. Warren Hammer P...

re: Loading the wheel
I think that the best way to apply the load would have been to just loosly drape/wrap the rope around the axle about ten times (a sort of clutch), then someone could have gradually pulled the free end tight and the rope would have caught around the axle and pulled the load at the other end. WH BTW: ...

re: Gain force from their own swinging.
This is a real interesting thread. One thing I've notice about swinging weights on a wheel structure. As the weight begins to swing downward, as it is not held stationary, it becomes weightless until reaching the bottom of the swing. This weightlessness causes countertorque to be produced by the wei...

re: Another gravity wheel?
Wasn't the 12 foot diameter wheel supposed to go at 26 rpm? I made a 12 foot diameter wheel in WM2D and pinned it to rotate at the center with a motor making it turn 26 rpm... THEN I made a not quite 6 foot pendulum and pinned it to the background about a half inch below the center of the wheel (so ...

re: Another gravity wheel?
Since kelly's thread was "locked" due to his apparent lying about having a working wheel and among other things, I was wondering why he wasn't banned from the forum for violating the terms of service.
So lying is ok then, until the need arises to "fess up".
LOL

re: Bessler's use of Gravity
I've read some things and done some thinking... Maybe a mechanical PMM wheel isn't such a crackpot idea after all. Had an idea for a wheel mechanism where the effect of gravity is equal (or in effect, turned off) everywhere except for in one quadrant. Someone make fun of me so I don't get hooked on ...

That's right kelly. You don't have a working device now, nor in the past either.

re: Bessler's use of Gravity
Doesn't matter really. They don't have a wheel that works anyway. I only wonder which one is holding the cup and which one grinds the organ. That's the only motion here. Their story is not being told well at all.
The music box organ. They are both too old for the other one:-).

I think that would be great.John Collins wrote:There is truth in what you say 1712, but I've been there too often to fool myself, so if it doesn't work and I have tried all the variations that seem sensible and they still don't work, then I'll publish.
