Even it’s a fraction of a second, you have now a proof that something is being done, and not just continuous hot air.

This is a trailer of a one minute movie in the making.

For all those who have followed the full presentation on this page,
This is the first PROOF OF CONCEPT of my AUTO WHEEL invention.

The 12 weights reset their starting positions every 30 degrees rotation of drum wheel.
This video with David M explanation above, shows drum wheel rotating over 45 degrees. They prove that there is net torque well past the resetting positions of the weights, most sufficient to overcome frictional loss and air resistance.

More than convincing to go for a full blown working prototype build, starting New Year!!!

Raj, is there a reason that the simulation can not be run longer? Can he run the simulation with a weaker push start? What would happen if he did add in the friction and air resistance?
. I can assure the reader that there is something special behind the stork's bills.

Justsomeone,
Please refer to the explanation given, not fool anybody, but genuine explanation, specially the red line mention, found in the top torque and acceleration graph.

Simulation work is continuing by David.

He is a Rolls Royce design engineer, and is using a top industrial Multibody 3D simulation program.
Unfortunately, he is running the simulation test in his own laptop, at a 1 or 2 % wheel rotation continuously, without stopping per 24 hours.

The last video was running simulation program for over a week, to reach about 50 %, (half) rotation.

As far I am concern, I am quite happy. I have got my answer, I set through out this last three month on this thread.

The question repeatedly asked was: "Would there be continuous NET Torque on the descending of the drum wheel?"

Hardly anybody showed any interest on my Auto Wheel concept, or any help forthcoming from members.

There is one member who made on 2d simulation, to show why my concept won't work, in the very first week. When I pointed out that what his simulation was showing was wrong because he missed one important item of my concept in his simulation, he did not bother to check my concept by doing a new simulation.

All throughout this three month, I refused to ask help from anybody on this forum.
I know there are a handful of members who could easily help with my concept.
Instead I posted all my work every other day, because I am confident from the start of this thread that I am on to something.

Good or Bad, for what it's worth, I am almost there.

N.B: I am not claiming that I have a working wheel concept.

Raj,

Although I have been following your thread with interest, I have yet to understand the essence of your proposal ; that 'secret sauce' that gives it the kick to 'drive' it around one full revolution.

Unless I misunderstand, I see a repeated interconnected mechanism at spaced intervals which you hope will create a continuous over-balancing force ?

Just as a point of order, for any multi-mech device to 'work', each repeated subset has to be able to induce rotation by itself and sustain it.

Otherwise, the more you duplicate, interconnected or not, the further away you are from your end goal.

@ Chris.

Your question has been previously answered, more than once.

No more explanation!

I am sure most of forum members who have followed this thread, have complete understanding of my Auto Wheel concept, because my presentation throughout this thread has been so clear and descriptive with drawings and pictures. Yet no one has contributed in any way to help. On the contrary, the few who posted anything was querying my already provided clear explanation, clearly showing that they have not read my previous posts.

On to the final hurdle : crash or dash to the finishing line.

The final result after New Year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! to all.

@Chris.
What are you genuinely worried about?
My 10000000000000 % chance of failure?
OR
My 0.00000000000000000001 % chance of success?

I am only trying to blaze a trail for myself, in complete darkness.
So please, please LET ME BE!

@Chris.

This thread was started back on 17July.
After 8 pages and 170 odd replies when I am self-assured of my attempt to success, you now come along with your last only 3 replies on this thread, asking me to throw my whole confidence in trash bin.

How am I to evaluate your motives?
