No, it don't. And it didn't happen this time either. You are either evading or you misunderstood me. I said that Ralph was *way* too gracious in his evaluation of you, dear winkle.winkle wrote:it don't happen very often but i agree with Scott...scott wrote:Ralph, IMO you are *way* too gracious.

I never said that. You sure like putting words in peoples mouths.I try not to follow that path. Usually I find myself on that path when the search for the WHEEL is so overwealming and no answer is apparent.

I haven't heard from him nor seen him for several months. I know that he was planning to go to Germany to follow up on some of my research, but that was last year! He and Ed were involved in designing a high quality web site about Bessler and invited me and another to contribute but I had so little time available that I had to decline and I think I may have caused some offence. The web site is there although largely inaccessible to me at www.johannbessler.comI sent Stewart an email a few days ago, had no reply.
I have his address but I'm not sure what to do, he only lives 35 miles from me.
Maybe JC knows something

re: Bessler's use of Gravity
IÂ’m a few posts behind, but since the subject was brought up, here it goes:
Why do people come to this discussion board? I can only speak for myself.
I really donÂ’t know when I was first bitten by the PMM bug. I can remember when I was about 6 years old, breaking into my windup toys and playing with the gears I took out of them. My parents thought I was destructive. I would spin the gears like tops, and wonder why they wouldnÂ’t just keep spinning. IÂ’m 54 years old now and still trying.
About 12 years ago I started taking advantage of some of the CAD tools I had at my disposal. I began to seriously seek the answer to the Bessler riddle. Initially I would talk to a couple of the young mechanical engineers I worked with, about my PMM ideas. I soon discovered they had no interest. In fact, I started to get the feeling they thought I was a little nuts. I was the design supervisor for our R & D group and I couldnÂ’t afford to lose my credibility, so I went underground. I started keeping my ideas, designs and experiments from other people, including my family. It wasnÂ’t hard to do because they were always used to me designing and inventing things. They would just let me do my own thing. After a while I started thinking that perhaps I was a fool for trying to do something that was not possible. Yet, I couldnÂ’t let it go. I was obsessed with it. I couldnÂ’t help think how things might be for my family and me, if my time had been spent on more constructive objectives.
About 3 years ago, I discovered “BesslerWheel.com”, but never clicked on the discussion board link. I guess I thought it would be similar to some chat rooms where people often go to criticize and offend others without purpose. It was about a year ago that I finally clicked on the discussion board link. I wish I had done it sooner. I was immediately impressed with the level of knowledge and cooperation I saw here. But what really got to me was seeing that there were others like me. I didn’t feel so alone anymore.
Remember the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”? Toward the end of the movie Richard Dreyfuss’s character is obsessed and driven to the mysterious mountain where he seeks the answers to his close encounters obsession. He gets caught by the authorities and is thrown into a vehicle where there are others, like himself, experiencing the same obsession. At that moment he realizes he is not crazy and not alone in his suffering. That’s how I felt when I found all you guys here.
Yes, you may see people here disagreeing, bickering and going at each other from time to time. Sometimes with good reason, other times not. I donÂ’t really like it, but I understand the passion behind it. ItÂ’s what most of us here have in common. I for one appreciate this website and the members of this discussion board.
So why am I here? Because “Birds of a Feather, Flock together”.

P.S. IÂ’m sorry for the long post. I just had to get it out.

re: Bessler's use of Gravity
My last contact with Stewart was regarding the new above mentioned web site. As stated it is or was, a combined effort of Stewart and ED.
To my knowledge nothing has transpired here since February. The site has never been opened to accept members. I am aware of a waiting list of some who wish to join if it ever becomes active.
Ed seems to have lost interest first leaving Stewart on his own. They were both unhappy with the way besslerwheel.com was changing, with expressed concerns over individual members influence.
As for the site being inaccessible to J.C. To my knowledge it is inaccessible to all, other than Stewart and Ed.

I agree that gravity can cause force.WHEELER; Gravity is a force, there-fore it is power. just as wind, heat, water, light.
Yes ! a gravity wheel works. jim kelly
However can you use the force in a continued flow without outside input and within a wheel that continues to spin?
JB Wheeler
it exists I think I found it.

Well I enjoyed reading it Tom , and I agree that there's not too many people who you can talk to about PM and Bessler etc.P.S. IÂ’m sorry for the long post. I just had to get it out.
They do indeed think you're somewhat misguided and foolish, but here you can find an eager ear .
Good luck

Stewart and Ed's web site was last updated 20 aug. 2006.So somebody worked on it recently.I'll be looking forward to its grand opening. Those two impressed me (among others)with level headed logical posts with a realistic focus on physics.Just the facts please Mam.(Sgt. Joe Friday Dragnet)>>>>>>>>>
On the 30th November 1745, at the age of 65, Bessler fell to his death from a windmill he was building in Fürstenburg. It seems that he took the secret of his wheels to the grave as there were no complete wheels found in his possesion, and there was nobody left alive who knew his secret either. However, he did leave us several published written works, some of which contain codes, and an unpublished collection of drawings and notes. By studying these it might be possible to rediscover Bessler's secret.

re: Bessler's use of Gravity
When I first came across this sight, I was blown away! I had never heard of Bessler before and had no idea that PM had ever been in such dispute. History can be so jaded...that an event of this magnitude can be so easily swept under the rug when the evidence available seems to dispute the notion "PM is impossible". Now, maybe it's not possible....maybe he was a fraud. I just do not think he would have been able to fool all those people at the demonstrations so easily. Basically, I did as I always do in these situations....I studied it....the man....and the times. Bought all the publications I could that pertained to that and made a judgement based on this information. I DO NOT think he was pulling a fast one. ANNNNND, I could be wrong.....

P.S. Now, here's the ego part...I think if he did it....so can I. LMAO
