Yes that is Patrick's wheel. I have copies of his video. The wheel we are looking for will accelerate once started. A wheel that accelerates will show usable possible energy.

I thought that video was rather impressive. If I were a builder I should certainly persist with that making small changes at a time and doing a rigorous analysis on the results.

One improvement he could make is to get a wheel which is truly circular.

How old is that video?

Having a second look I see that he has covered the outside of the wheel with sheets of paper -presumably to keep its "secret". Shades of Bessler.

Patrick faded away!

Rather than share what he did he just seemed to vanish. Even if he gave up then some element in his wheel may have been useful for further development.

Alex if you look in Patrick's albums you'll see he was working on an open axle design.

Patrick is an old member here at BW - from France, I guess.
He's intelligent and creative and I like him.
About his wheel, I worry about the sounds that are not uniform according revolutions. The width shows possibly 3D design.
Best!
M.

At the top of most BesslerWheel Forum pages you will find a link that says Albums - click it once

On the page it takes you to, under the image of Bessler where it says Forum Index -> Pics ->
you will see a selection box - click inside of it once

Scroll down through the names - click once.

Last word I heard was, it ran for a little over 18 minutes. I also have copies of the videos.

Hey, Alan... was that wheel run time, or video run time?

How long has it been since Patrick made the wheel and the videos?

If he posted about it on this Forum, did he give the wheel a name that I could search for?

Mark

The videos do not show the run time. Patrick's brother told me the run time. All of our wishes were with Patrick and I would like to see him post again. There is a string about it here on the forum, so you need to look at Patrick's post.

I hope this helps
Alan
