The video shows a guy raising a log up above his head and he explains how he has slowed the earth down by a miniscule amount.

isn't that amazing!! I think we should file a class action suit via the EPA for motion pollution! Of course as old as the video is it probably is paste the statute of limitations.

He could well be right. But as all that goes up must come down and what with gravity being conservative we'll never know. Unless we can talk the chinese into forming a 10 000 mile long chain of guys with logs and they all raise logs at a precise moment in time. How many guys can you fit into a 10 000 mile long chain ?

If the guy is right, the Chinese have a monstrous military advantage, any missile launch towards them, they lift the logs and germany get's anihilated because of the overshoot. Could be worse.
