re: Relativity
Well, at least now you agree it's a measurement!
Now, how does a measurement get used up?
How does a kilogram get used up? It doesn't.
Nothing gets used up. That implies it's gone forever. Stuff just gets converted to something else, or broken into smaller pieces of stuff.
Scientific heterodoxy won't raise mass in a gravitational field.
The orthodoxical view of mass or matter or, a lot of physics doesn't have to defend itself against anything anyway. They aren't things that can have alternative meanings or interpretations.
Diversity is good for everything.

The reciprocal of Mass is a measure of ultra small scale closed path motion. If small scale closed path motion is transformed into large scale motion then mass qua mass is used up.
When atoms combine and there is a mass deficiency (increase in 1/m) that is because some of the large scale relative motion between the atoms has been turned into small scale motion. A similar thing happens to a ballet dancer when she pull her arms in. Large scale rotation is turned into small scale rotation. Angular momentum is conserved.
As Leibniz said, Motion can only come from motion. Motion is momentum variance at different scales. In physical change it moves up and down those scales.
You are just trotting out the conventional rubbish you have been taught without thinking about things in any depth.
Why the hell are you here? You haven't answered that yet.

Having had a quick look at your previous posts you seem to be a missionary from the Church of Science to convert the ignorant savages of the Bessler forum to the true faith. The cognitive difference you will experience when you find that the savages are right and your attempt to spread FUD comes to naught, will be something to behold.
I suppose you have already dismissed the evidence for ultra light speed as an anomaly which will be explained without consigning the sainted Einstein to the dustbin of history. You wish.

re: Relativity
IDK, they look uncomfortably tight!
I did read your IHM paper, Frank. When I asked you about a substitution in one of your equations, you said something about opinions of strangers vs. the officers at your employment , etc., and that was the end of it.

I do not know Bill, us backwoods uneducated rednecks would probably refer to it as being a 'Peckerhead.
Of course before replying I gotta a little educatin in the Auzzie term for 'Y fronts' Yup just what I thought it was!

Sorry - I can't recall you asking that. Could you give me a link, please?eccentrically1 wrote:IDK, they look uncomfortably tight!

Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terribilis ut castrorum acies ordinata?
Re: re: Relativity
That is Saint Wenceslaus you are mocking. It's his feast day today. He won't be putting anything in your stocking this Christmas - that's for sure.ovyyus wrote:Why the hell is there a pair of red & yellow y-fronts on Frank's head?

Well, if you've got b*lls for brains you may as well wear them there <grin>ovyyus wrote:Why the hell is there a pair of red & yellow y-fronts on Frank's head?

re: Relativity
So that's not you, Frank? My apologies.
What the hell are y-fronts doing on the head of some bloke from the 10th Century?

That's OK Frank, I don't think you're THAT smart :D
