FACT - China's human rights record is an absolute disgrace - gee, that must make me a racist! Did the West's suspicions of the Russian intentions during the cold war make everyone in the West racist against Russia?......because I detect a similar undertone here in members posts (mostly American members its got to be said) about the new emerging threat to the western economic and military powers of the world....China. I don't think that being suspicious makes you a racist.

But I still think you get my point, that the West (especially America) is alarmed at China's rate of growth, India to. Although China while embracing capitolism, it is still a communist country. That's a dark cloud on the horizon for most Americans. Therefore I would not expect any technological handouts from America to China that would make China stronger.

Hence, I can see most American members perspective, that once your at the top you want to stay there. You know it's just like in the movie Chain Reaction. Oul' Morgan Freeman didn't want "Neo" to give the Chinese free energy. America wants to stay top dog.

You see its not racist, its political.
