To put it simply, by adding a small load to the generator coil allows the coil to drain, this reduces the resistance between the coil and the magnets and there is less work for the drill to do, it is a small effect that will be very limited but it is there and thank for showing it, Cheers, regards Trevor

Hi all I do not know if you guys have seen this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkLfpXpO5sQ&feature=related it is maybe not for real it has a draw back, here is my comments on it!

So when the RPM of the wheel reaches a certain speed the ball bearing escapes the Magnet, how do you expect to get over this? it you add a residence to the wheel to slow the RPM then it will not work!

Edit, this is my theory on it and I hope I am wrong, the other bad news is, that type of manet lose there power quickly.

Edit, I just read his blogg they are just models that do not work out side of his workshop, very good builder though I would like him to build some of mine as I do not get the time, I trying to pay the bills and build with what is left, just like us all here!

The fail on connection between sphere and magnet is due to simple fact that the wheel ASKS for a charge, or resistance, to hold a bit.

A bigger sphere would be great.

Power is small but clever!
