Trevor's post
I think I could have spent up R20,000 over eight years, not counting the cost of labour.
My wife says at least it has given me something to do and kept me out of mischief.
Let's face it though, it is really going to be worth it especially since I have reached the end of my quest and will be ready to test a working wheel quite soon!...LOL.

Rand 20,000 = $1,412 US dollars LOL you have gotten off cheap. My knife making sander with extra parts cost me nearly $2,000 US alone.

Hi Trevor,
My wife says at least it has given me something to do and kept me out of mischief.
That did not work, you only moved it here, lol.

There has been an update to the RAR website.

17 images have been added. One of them contains the following text in Portuguese:
Visão geral de nosso motor modelo RAR-1916 alimentado e movido exclusivamente pela força de gravidad. Este motor foi desenvolvido inteiramente por nossa equipe.

Como todos os produtos, certamente existe muito a se descobrir e se desenvolver no aproveitamento da energia contida na força da gravidade do planeta.
Here is Google's English translation of that text:
Overview of our RAR-1916 model motor powered and powered exclusively by Gravity force. This engine was developed entirely by our team.

Like all products, there is certainly much to discover and develop the use of the energy contained in the force of gravity on the planet.
The other 16 images are of drawings dated the 13th of November, 2015. 8 are of the Gilman Motor and 8 are of the Port Allegro Motor. It appears that there are two images each - a side view and a perspective view - of four different positions in the motors' rotations.

There seem to have been some major modifications (surprise!) made since the last updates, and apparently there are also some small differences between the two machines.

Fortunately, the drawings are now only showing a single set of mechanisms, which makes things much easier to see.

So you don't have to be bothered with automatically downloading all 145 images on the cumbersome web page (or turning off image loading), here are the direct links to the new additions:

Thanks. I check the website every once in a while with a browser that easily lets me turn of image loading and then typically just load in the last image to see if it has changed. It had been quite some time since an update.

WOW interesting animation and I wonder can they make a building to stand up to all that action. The whole thing is showing what would be a whole lot of shaking going on. Yet still no video, but I like the drawings.

wonder when they will change the rod connection to to the crank to a L instead of a straight shaft?

Maybe to maximize mechanical advantage they should make the lever lightning bolt shaped.

These idiots original design and patent operated on lifting using a roberval balance, and dropping like a normal lever to make use of extra distance utilised to the pivot.. On their design update, by the weight path marked on the drawings, they are now excited by the weight moving up somewhat vertical, but dropping radially. It will never work. Their entire motive theory is flawed.

Leverage doesn't work because something is further from a pivot point. Leverage is the amount of vertical movement of one point compared to another when utilising a gravity field. FC. This is also "mechanical advantage ". Force at the expense of distance.

Not always a very simple clever design allows for the exact same length from center, theire is a number of mechanical advantages which work differently while rotating

Drag, for one thing...not the first reason that I always see, but that's my secret.

RAR has added more drawings of another variation of their machine. They are dated the 20th of this month.
