I have created this thread for any soul who is trying to learn Blender.

Or use it in the Bessler Wheel quest.

Blender is complex and I am learning via tutorials.

I have been using the programing language used within Blender.

Also I have used two other 3D modeling products VPython & POV.

It looks like Blender combines both of these together into one.

I just have to go through the work of learning Blender v2.78.

There is an export option so I can move the results to my web site.

Note.

I better get on and build a base dumbell-bar in Blender.

You have to start sometime and somewhere

I was in the process of learning MODO, really great tool, but then i got pulled back into bessler insanity, also know a bit of Maya.

I think they've updated Blender but they removed the game engine, if memory serves right.

Anyway, the good part about blender is that you will find plenty of tutorials, same as for 3dsmax, not so much on maya and even less on MODO, unfortunately.

Blender's game engine and physics are present.

So welcome to the complexity - lets make it simple.

The youtube links shows a python script running in Blender v2.79.

That is useful in the study of implementing Python within Blender.

Just downloaded Blender 2.8 and watched the youtub videos.

Well this is a Bessler friendly Blender version using the new render engine 'Eevee'.


Note. I tried updating my graphics driver - not a good idea - had to rebuild the o/s software.

I am no way proficient enough with blender modelling too produce a blender file model for the image below.

If anyone can the file would help in addressing another members needs.

Having a go at building in 2.80 Blender.

Just an Image at this point of 'The Device'.

This Device has been around for some time so I am
using a generic name as it is not for me too name it.
That is for the originator to do.

I am finding using Blender like riding a bicycle for the first time.

You go so far then you fall off and try again.

I will create a link to the images that in time will hopefully
evolve into to something better.

There are references that you can create output for a 3D Printer?
