Heat Pump Devices

There are devices that I trust some members are following or researching in parallel
to their Bessler Quest.

Both transport heat from one part of a metal device to another.
That concentrated heat expands a fluid or gas and is then used to do work.

Like a jet engine were the air is compressed and heated with fuel to do work.

However these devices use internal frictional heating instead of fuel.

I would like to see if any progress has been done oil based device last know of in a safe underground concrete location?

P.S. There is a sound based heat pump, but that is another tune.
