It does get confusing. It appears that as Bessler made improvements, he incorporated everything which adds to the confusion. I still predict that someone will solve the puzzle this year.

: You are correct, that the drawings are very similar but slightly different. That is why Mike calls them the "twin" drawings. Bessler did draw them them both. Some people think that the subtle discrepancies might be hints.

Your's shows the locks having the same numbers, Mike reverses them. You cut off the upper left hand corner where what appears to be a J is. The shadows go in opposite directions. Not nitpicking, just curious.
