yes, this has been thought of...
I got my first PM idea from this when I was a young boy..
Placing "compass needles" with small weights attached in a wheel, to make them turn in and out before they should..

But the magnetic forces making the weights move will also keep pulling the weights away from gravity when they try to fall.
Resault = no net gain :-)
It will function in the same manner as ordinary permanent magnets. BUT permanentmagnets is much easier to manipulate.

I do believe permanent magnets is an "endless" free energy source.
I believe they are sort of rectifiers/diodes making the ether/tachyon energy in the universe visible.
It is the shape and behaviour of the magnetic energy that makes it hard to exploit.(conservative force).
Hard because it has an undetectable particleflow (undetectable particles), penetrate matter(can be redirected by iron etc..), is spheric, and magnitude do not pulsate (almost like gravity).

The behaviour of these fields should tell us how to exploit them !

I have an "simple" experiment you can do at home, that could prove magnetic energy ? if someone are interrested? Mail me and I will show you..

: Apart from gravity there is another inexaustable free energy source on this planet: the magnetic poles. It can turn the needle in a compass, what else could it power if utilised correctly? Of course it is far weaker than gravity but has anyone thought of designing a wheel which taps into both of these energies?

: I imagine that the wheel would have to be aligned to the poles. I think the advantage of using this energy in addition to gravity is not so much the small amount of extra force but the fact that this force "flows" from a different direction to gravity.
