Hi John & Darren,

And Bessler said he allowed people to turn his wheel anyway they liked, provided that it was not rotated faster than that speed for which it was designed.

To me this implies that if someone wanted to set the wheel speed so that it turned very slowely, say 1 revolution per hour (one way wheel), then Bessler would have no objection.

At these slow speeds and extended run times CF seems hardly a factor in Bessler's wheel operation. Although at higher speeds I know it becomes very troublesome if not accounted for.

Regards, ovyyus

: JC:- Bear in mind of course that Bessler's one-way wheel started from a stand-still and therefore did not need CF to turn.
