: Darren, How big will your prototype be?

Right now I am using software to simulate a wheel with a .5 m radius, but I will probably go smaller on the physical prototype so it's easier to transport.

: How many rmp will it turn?

I won't know for sure until the sim is done. Shooting for sim completion this weekend so I can post a new chapter and maybe some video on GreaterThings.com

: How slow can it go, will it be as they sau\y Besslers was, the speed could be slowed?

Never really thought about it... I don't know what the lower RPM limit would be. I guess it could be throttled down if you wanted but... since horsepower is a product of torque and RPM I'd like to get both up as high as I can.

: Does it, by scaling it up, keep the same rpm but ioncrease the power...as they say Besslers did?

Hmm... let's see... if I scaled it up in size and kept all the angles and weigh ratios the same then yes, I believe it would provide more power at the same RPM.

Darren
