The (main) point I am making here is: No matter which way you do it, somebody somewhere will sue you. Even if you give it away for free, somebody will build one without using proper safety precautions, their kid will lose an arm or a head, and you will be in court because YOU 'invented a dangerous machine', regardless of WHO is at fault.

I would suggest forming a corporation as added protection to limit your liability. And I didn't even bring up the numbers of people who will sue, saying you stole 'their' idea. (Well, I just did, so there!)
Quit being so paranoid. You can worry about those things when you DO find it...
