I disagree.

Just recently, before I found this particular thread or read anything about a "bolt adjuster" I realized that I would want something like a bolt in my wheel that was externally accessible for adjusting the speed of the wheel. I was actually pretty surprised to find this thread and learn that one (or more?) of Bessler's wheels had an "adjuster bolt" that apparently(?) adjusted the speed of the wheel... very interesting. If mine is the same as his then no, it was not a bolt that dragged on the rim or dragged on anything else... but it would adjust the speed of the wheel, and it would do it internally.
