Hello John

JB mentions that his parts are "enclosed in a case", and on Don Simanek's "Unworkable Devices" site, he claims that those who saw inside saw many compartments for weights. I'm not going to beat a dead horse about this because Karl was apparently the only observer of the wheel's guts. Is it possible, in your opinion, that there may have been a "case" for each mech?
Also in the "Little Book " interpretation on Alden Park's site, JB goes on and on about his "Offyrean Roller Bearing". Does your research indicate that he really came up with the bearing, or is it just one of his eloquent dissertations?

One last one, what is the difference between "Pound Sterling" and the "Great Britain Pound"? Not familiar with your monetary terms.

Thanks much
