: Well, I dare say most people like to make Earth shattering statements. Darren certainly seems to enjoy it, for example. :-)

Just for the record I didn't enjoy it... I agonized for a long time over making any kind of open claim... I know how brutal you guys can be sometimes :-)

: I would certainly like to see a vidio clip, but techstuff may not have the equipment or know-how to do that. I know I certainly would not be able to do it. Heck, I don't even know how to make a web-page!

That's a fair statement.

: I do think the pictures that are provided give about as good an indication as a vidio would, though. You can clearly see an unballanced COG which should remain as the wheel turns.

Take a look at the orffyre.com site and check out the MT pages... just about *every* one of the designs *looks* unbalanced... you simply can *not* go by looks. I cannot emphasize that enough. To build something real or even understand someone else's design you *must* learn how to do the math or use some software to help with the calculations.

: Techstuff does speak of messages from God, etc, etc. That tends to turn me off, I will admit, but for me the SOURCE of an idea is not important. I see the idea itself as being the most important thing. The bottom line is that I think his idea is VERY intriguing, and he has certainly put a lot of work into building his machine and then making pictures and diagrams of it available so that others can build and test it too. That is far more than some people are willing to do, and I must give credit where credit is due.

Bessler created drawings and designs over what, two decades, and just about all of them did *not* work. Yes, techstuf put some work into it... but that in no way proves it's real or even close.

Darren
