The diagram for the construction of a Hilsh-Vortex tube was published in "The scientific American book of projects for the Amateur Scientist" 1960 Library of Congress card # 60-14286.
The article is by George O. Smith and the design is based on research by Roger Hayward of Pasadena, Ca.
This is an interesting device and I would like to hear of any experiments involving this technique.
