The crude diagrams that were posted from here were drawings from actual construction. Although the design that was put up from here failed to perform, it may be to the benefit of some other researcher that maybe was toying with the same type of design, wondering if it WOULD work. If it saved someone else's time and effort,then it was worth posting.

It's rather tough to reverse-engineer a device that noone but two people who are deceased ever saw the design of, one not telling and the other being cryptic. How many filament materials did Edison try, especially exotic ones, before he struck on carbonizing plain old sewing thread? This project requires unorthodox thinking, and the exchange of ideas here is invaluable.
