This is also similar to a double-bounce on a trampoline. You are essentially "stealing" energy from one object and applying it to another.

A little stick showed up at the top, but it was not clear if it went the whole 'bouncer tower'. The advertisement said, if you hold it at the top(stick) and let it drop onto a hard surface it would bounce back UP TO 5 TIMES HIGHER than the drop height was...UFFFFFF. Has anyone seen this toy in action or knows something about it?
