project update

It's getting heavy. All the major components are assembled and the supporting structure is in place. I had to scale it down a little and removed 2 of the 14 components, I wasn't allowed to cut a hole in the ceiling. I will need to build a balance scale for the 12 remaining, some are little heavier than others, I guess the plywood has small hollow spots in it. Even though I am counting on an imbalance to make it move, the long strokes and the very slow 6 to 10 rpm, a heavier component could slow or stop it.

While this machine does not look like Besslers wheel I think I can build one that does based on similer action. I've made some plans for it but I can't start on it untill I get this behemoth done which could be this coming weekend. I'll post some pics if this thing don't work.
