George brings up an interesting situation. If someone does solve the Bessler wheel, what would be the best way to put it into the public domain and still be adequately (highly) compensated for the discovery? The easy way is to sell it to the highest bidder and if it is purchased, then that is proof that the wheel worked. Then, it would not be hidden forever because everyone will put forth effort to duplicate it (or the Government would put pressure on the purchaser to reveal it.
