Here, Here Mr Tim,
I don't post often on this site but religously read every piece of info supplied by the likes of Mr. John Collins, and yes he has a book to sell, (hopefully soon), but he would also be the most knowledgeable person on this site as regards our friend Mr J.E.E. Bessler, and his history etc., not once has he failed to answer any of the quetions asked of him to the best of his ability. I was a devout sceptic of PM prior to becoming part of this group, and, although not fully converted, my eyes have been opened to the possibility that PM may be achieved. In other words David, if you don't like it, don't eat it! Just remember, the world was flat for millions of years untill a few hundred years ago!

: If you don't believe that the Bessler wheel worked, then why are you wasting your time trying to change OUR minds?
: Anybody can find reasons to say that it is an 'impossibility'.
: Most of the people that visit this board believe that it can be re-discovered. True, most of the ideas that we try (collectively and individually) don't work, but does that mean it's impossible?
: NO!
: Because we learn from our mistakes too. If something doesn't work, we figure out why not, and then try again. And eventually we WILL find out how the wheel worked.
: I too, could claim it's impossible to figure out, just on the basis of hundreds of design sketches that didn't work. Does that mean it's impossible?
: NO!
: Because, as above, I learn what does and doesn't work, and that allows me to narrow it down to what WILL work.
: Belief and persistence. It's a great combination.
: Will you change our minds? I doubt it.
: Will we change yours? Probably not.
: And that's just as good a place as any to leave it....
: MrTim
