We believe JB did it, there is nothing to prove he did not apart from Newton, was Newton a god? no he was human.
The answer is simple in engineering tearms but imposible for mathmatics to deal with, then and now.
Do not look for a symetrical answer, it aint there
: I dont agree that a noisy machine would get any positive attention. If the idea was to get people to be interested to use the "process" for industry, a quiet machine would have been far better.
