I got the impression from what you said that if the COG of the weights was not the same as the center of the wheel then the wheel or whatever apparatus would not be inclined to rotate. From what I have put together, wheels with off-center of wheel COGS rotate just like ANY wheel with the COG in the center of the wheel because?...(all are balanced in an equidistant fashion)X weight up Y distance, X weight down Y distance-it doesnt matter how it is hooked up because the same forces are at work no matter what you do-unless it is put together in such an extrememly convoluted manner that friction becomes the deciding factor. Not being testy, that is just what I interpreted from your posts. John
