: Design I in its simplest form has 21 moving parts, but would require some serious polishing and liberal amounts of grease. This number could easily skyrocket if certain solid parts were replaced with roller bearings (to further reduce friction). That would change the number of moving parts to 102. the design I have on paper right now employs the roller bearings... one of the reasons why I've been cringing at the complexity.
