: Hi Georg. I know what resonance is, but I do not know what you mean by the term "exceeding resonance". I assume that this may have something to do with a delay of reaction forces. This reminds me of the fact that the conservation of energy is dependant upon the simultaneous existence of action and reaction. If reaction can be delayed, then they are no longer simultaneous, and the possibility for energy violations becomes possible. Do you believe this is the principle of overunity?
: Lurker.

I don't think resonance has much to do with Bessler's wheel. There are very few, if any, references to any kind of resonance, vibration, or oscillation in the accounts of Bessler's wheels. I do, however, know that resonance can be a powerful phenomenon.

The first time I heard about increasing resonance was in a biography about Tesla, some of which is reproduced here;

Again, it's my opinion that MrTim is correct when he says any kind of resonance or vibration would be bad, and I do not believe that's the answer tot he wheel... nonetheless... this article about Tesla is still very interesting. Enjoy :-)
