Bessler drawings vs. Rupert Gould....John C.?

Hello, This question is first of all directed to John C,
but I ask everybody !

Do you know why Rupert Goulds drawing / copy of the Besslerwheel, is different from the other similar Mersburg drawing/s on this site...?

The radius of the wheel varies more and there are weight/s and levers etc. inside of it that clearly can be seen, especially with graphic enhancement.
This do not reveal in any of other drawing/copies I have seen.
Where did Rupert get his picture from ?
And why is it not more pictures from the same original as Rupert used, or is that picture tampered with (by Rupert)
to make the story more "exciting"....?
