What's the problem 'Techstuf', don't you want people to connect the dots? What I can't understand is that after such a poor show with your spring-wheel contraption, why would you expect anyone to take what you say seriously - unless of course you keep changing your name.

BTW, you seem to be able to switch the God thing on and off like a garden tap. I guess that would make far it too easy to connect your various alias postings, wouldn't it. What a joke.

: Lighten up on the Vic Bitters there mate. ;^)

: : Hi Pendully - Techstuff - Voice in the Wilderness - Will,

: : ..and do you still not understand?

: : : True enough,that.

: : : Perhaps only the "experienced porch swingers" among us may end up with valuable insight here. How long I did use my porch swing to observe life from a distance when I should have observed more closely the dynamics of such a pastime! I would suspect that the filming of oneself, from the side, using the legs from the knee downward only, just enough to keep themselves swinging,(paying close attention to timing) may reveal much to the one who fails to grasp certain ramifications from the experience itself.

: : : : Hi Pendulum,

: : : : Thanks for your post. I agree that the dynamics of swinging are interesting, sometimes counter-intuitive, and an obvious place to look for a possible PM effect. This is especially true in light of the fact that Bessler stated "the weights gain force from their own swinging."

: : : : I have done a lot of research in this area, so I feel obliged to come to Rob's defense. Indeed, when you move your legs to pump a swing, you are inputting energy into the system from the action of your muscles. You can do this by lifting your center of gravity slightly at the nadir of the swing, or by adding angular momentum at the end points of the swing (causing a change in orientation when the swing is otherwise motionless). In either case, timing is critical, since it is a resonance effect that you are going for. (I expect Georg K. might want to chime in here... ;-)

: : : : Best,
: : : : Scott
