Okay, not sure if this is relevant or not in application, but it IS an interesting question. While watching some thrashers (skateboarders) on TV, when they do stunts that take them airborne, how does that damn skateboard stay on the bottom of their feet?
(This has been bugging me for a long time. I haven't been on a skateboard in 25 years (and am not about to start now. Which is probably why I took up surfing. Falling off was much softer, except for the occasional landing on a shark, which comes as a surprise to both parties ;-) ) Does anybody out there have any kids that can explain that bit of skateboard physics?
