I think I was rather clear that it was a dead-end! The best overbalancing effect that I got was a little over 45 degrees from 3 o'clock to almost 5 or so. (If you built part 'B' too long that might have been part of your problem. The distance a weight is vertically suspended from an arm is the same as it being horizontal from the same suspension point, i.e. a weight hanging down contributes to what I call "drag".)
Again, it was an interesting mech for showing that a weight could pull itself inward, but that's about all. I've moved on to other, more promising designs, and so should you.
