Yes you're correct. The Count, when asked what the machine was like, said that it was so easy to understand that a carpenter's boy (apprentice) could understand it and build it if he were allowed to study it for a few minutes.

Someone recently (as of a couple of days ago) posted what he said was a quote from Bessler where he stated he was afraid to give out anything since a child carpenter could build his machine in a fortnight if he saw it. Did Bessler actually say this? I thought that just came from the count.
