I'm by no means an expert on the matter, but I would stick with the conservation of mass and energy theory and say that the power to move that ball comes from somewhere. Just because we can't quite explain where the energy is coming from doesn't mean it is over-unity. I'm sure that nuclear bombs would seem over-unity to a simple, uneducated tinkerer. You take some stuff, make it spark, and BOOM! That is, if the tinkerer survived. But the energy comes from somewhere. I think what we have here is a lack of understanding when it comes to magnetic fields. I don't believe in over-unity. That doesn't mean that I think gravity pumps (wheels) and SMOTS are impossible, but rather that energy is being used(whether or not there is an infinite supply of energy doesn't matter to me either) and work is being done. And yes, I do believe in infinity.
