Hi John and all,

>Don't forget that JB did say that he didn't use springs in the obvious way.

I think (my opinion) that statement was that he was saying the wheel didn't run on pre-stored power. I've put a few clues together that I'll soon post if anyone wants to see them that seems to point in the area that part of his machine was a compression system, and part released that compression suddenly. It of course had other items or several items of priori, (more than a few, I always took several to mean around seven)Compression of course is 10 pounds over 10 feet equaling 100 pounds over 1 foot. Part of the clues-he also said once the wheel gained a full rotation, then the perpetual motion principle took over. Now...I hope Darren doesn't mind me saying this but he's already given enough hints towards this. 10 pounds over 10 feet can equal 100 pounds over 1 foot. But 10 pounds over 10 feet that is already moving equals...MORE. Interesting also that hydralics is a compression system (the water references again) and I'll point you towards the MT drawing that has water being pressurized in it, and it being released.

D.
