Hello John;

These extensive and detailed translations are extremely helpful. I think if anyone is ever able to replicate Bessler's wheel it will be in large part due to your efforts at publicizing his history/words.

I am approaching 100 different experiments and am convinced there is an input connected to the 'grindstone', (the large freely rotating middle-wheel) that is able to somehow affect/effect the weights on the 'upswing'. I have done some experiments having the various weights interconnected but without success. I have also done some experiments with pulleys; a pulley can provide a remarkably efficient input but the movement always seems to get trashed within a 360 degree rotation. The only diagram that overtly displays pulley action is MT75 which avoids this by having both ends maintaining tension/statically connected; I am currently awaiting copies of the original drawings from Germany for more clues. My endurance/interest point for a new task is usually about 12-18 months, and I fear I am quickly running out of the drive/energy to continue. I hope your experiments are going well.
