Interesting questions and despite your PS postings I'm not sure that I understand what exactly you want from me Mike. Do I regard the Bessler wheel as mine? No. Do I think I may be descended from Bessler, possibly, certainly my own obssession with this story has engendeered that though many times, and other research of a genalogical kind leads me to consider it a possibility.

As I'm so involved in building my own version of JB's wheel I guess you can say that I think of my experiments as MY WHEEL, but is that what you wish to know?

As to your final question work is proceeding very well with my own wheel but of course as many who have worked in this area over a number of years will know, optimism is of prime importance to a successful outcome and I have it in abundance.

: Hi John,

: I've discovered a decoder of sorts, that on everything I've tested it on so far. In fact sometimes in a very suprising way. I have a question for you, that would help in the validation process. But you need to consider the question thoughtfully and try to answer as honestly as you can-if you don't mind. I applied it to a part of your writtings on your web site. The section I applied it to states that the cohesive factor of your book, the values that pull it together; that is as a solid material ie. core of the book, is the wheel. The illuminated part of the book, that is the part that is most prominate-is the idea of the code. Okay so no biggy here, anyone can ifere that this might be the case. But I haven't read your book, and this is from applying this formula. What I want to ask you is, during the time of writting some of the main text of your web site, or even previously, or even until now, did you feel that the wheel was your wheel? I'm not asking you if you felt you were Bessler (though you may indeed have wondered if you had been), but rather since you've become so immersed in this subject for so many years, do you feel so close to it as to consider it (via your psyche) your wheel? Because the words MY WHEEL were prominate in connection with THE CODE.

: mike
