: IMO, you can't suppress what you don't yet have.

Not all types of suppression are created equal. The best way to hide something is to hide it in plain sight. For example, you could use free energy to produce hydrogen, which can be combined with carbon dioxide to produce hydorocarbon fuels which are identical to fossil fuels. Thus, the big oil companies could concievably continue to produce "fossil fuels" for the rest of eternity even after the real fossil fuels have been used up. No one would know the difference, not even the scientists, because they already "know" that free energy is imposible.

If anyone asks where your hydrogen is comming from, you can just tell them that it come from nuclear energy. People will believe THAT, but they would NOT believe it came from free energy devices unless they already knew that the standard scientific dogmas about energy always being conserved was nothing more than a lie. A lie supported by intensive propaganda, disinformation in the form of fraudulent and misleading claims about free-energy devices, etc.
